We brought Vertex in on a mixed-use project in Denver that had a lot of moving parts, and honestly their preconstruction team kept us organized when things could have easily gone sideways. The deliverables were detailed enough that we caught a couple of budget issues before they became real problems.

What stood out to me was how fast they turned time. We were up against a deadline and didn't think we'd make it, but Vertex had the numbers back to us in under 48 hours. Communication was solid the whole way through too, no chasing anyone for updates.

This was our first time outsourcing instead of keeping it in-house, and I was a little skeptical at first. But the accuracy was there, and it genuinely saved us money once we compared it against what an in-house hire would've cost us. We've since used them on two more projects.

The BIM modeling work they did for our healthcare facility build caught a clash we hadn't noticed in the mechanical drawings. Small thing, but it would've cost us real time on site if it slipped through. That level of attention is what keeps us coming back.

Good experience overall. There was a bit of back and forth on the first revision since our scope changed mid-project, but their team adjusted without charging us extra for the small changes, which I appreciated. Would recommend for mid-size commercial jobs.

We've worked with a few preconstruction firms over the years and Vertex is by far the most responsive. Every email got answered, engineer actually walked us through the numbers on a call instead of just sending a PDF and disappearing.
